InspectWarden documents portable fire-extinguisher inspection work with guided checklist results, pass/fail outcomes, deficiencies, notes and photos, and due dates. It does not determine or guarantee NFPA or code compliance. Requirements vary by jurisdiction and authority having jurisdiction (AHJ), so contractors retain professional judgment and must check the requirements that apply to each job.

Can technicians use InspectWarden in the field on a phone?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Technicians can work through the extinguisher checklist on a phone at the asset. The current app also stores inspection drafts and photos locally when offline and syncs them when the connection returns, with visible retry and conflict handling. That does not mean every dashboard or portal feature works offline, and a draft is not safely server-persisted until it has synced.

What can a building owner see in the shared portal?

Accepted Answer

The building-owner experience is a secure, token-gated shared portal, not an open public directory. A contractor can issue, revoke, or expire a contact link. With an active link, the building owner can see recent completed inspections, pass/fail results, open deficiencies, checklist and inspection detail views, and acknowledge findings. A report PDF is downloadable when that report has been generated.

How do pricing and the trial work?

InspectWarden uses monthly plans organized around active technician seats; the live pricing page has the current amount and seat rule, so it is the source of truth before you subscribe. How do I cancel my subscription?

Accepted Answer

The workspace owner can cancel before the next renewal from the available Billing settings and Stripe billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and access continues until then. Charges are non-refundable and non-prorated except where required by law or expressly agreed.

How long are our inspection records and photos retained?

Accepted Answer

Records, notes, photos, and account or company information are retained while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. After closure or a deletion request, deletion occurs within a reasonable period, subject to legal, security, fraud, dispute, and accounting needs; residual backup copies can remain until routine rotation. Request or export what you need before closing, and review /privacy and /terms for the governing details.

The complete field workflow today is for portable fire extinguishers: guided inspections, results, deficiencies, photos, due dates, records, and reports. Alarms, sprinklers, kitchen suppression, and emergency lighting are not currently complete workflows in the product. We would rather be precise about what works now than imply coverage that is not ready.
